My credit card is showing that I am over the limit, but I'm really not..should I be worried?

Ok so this is what happened. I have a credit card with a $500 credit line, but my balance was $495 and I have this pending transaction that it's only a temporary authorization and it's showing that I'm $36 over the limit. The temporary authorization was when I tried to apply for a Verizon cell phone plan online, but I did not qualify for it. I wasn't planning to get it with the credit card obviously since I couldn't go over the limit, but they required me to enter the credit card for verification purposes I guess. Now I'm worried because I got my statement by e-mail and it's showing a $536 balance. Will it just go away in a few days? I'm so worried! :(
