You need to clear the air for your own sanity....so you need to tell her how you feel....tell her that you and she have been friends a very long time and you value that aspect alot..but you are starting to feel more for her and want to see if you and she could take it further...ie start dating for real and try to see if there is a relationship possibility there...tell her you sense that she gets uncomfortable when there is talk about another girl in your life..... and it drives you whacky when she goes out with other guys....so if she is open for it..you would like to give the two of you a shot...if it doesn't work out...at least you will know and you can still be very close friends.... That way you will get the air cleared and get her side of things...Hope this helps...
