Is there any possibility to recover forgotten administrator pword in windows vista?

I try to download some of the files and it asking me but unfortunately, I forgot the pw and details. do i need to reinstall everything? or how can i get rid on this problem? how can i reset admin pword in windows vista to stop asking me authorization while downloading some files?
