I forgot what this music style was called, its japanese like tecno/house music but using like anime sounds?

i remember i had heard this style on youtube a long time ago but i just cant remember what it was called. It was really cool because it was all like remixed in an awesome way and i also saw a live dj create his own mix of this style and he was like jumping with the beat and it just looked and sounded . The anime sounds were like really cute and said things like idk i guess "oniichan" but remixed and it sounded awesome.
