Anime of the Boy with Red skates and a Gold Dented Bat?

i remember this old tv show/ anime that came on adult swim a few years back. all i can remember about it is it had a boy that went around hitting people with his golden bat and he chased the people in his red roller skates. i think it was just a kid with some crazy disorder that thought he was in a different world from a video game. oh, and in the beginning opening, it had a chinese guy in a hawaiian outfit on top of a snowy mountain. what's the show called?
