The new Nintendo 3DS?

I know it's expected around March in North America. But I also heard it may be $300. Really? $300 for a handheld? Anyway, I have a DS Light right now, will there be any point in having it once the 3DS comes out? Dead serious I only want like two games for the 3DS. Is it worth buying?
