IPhone no longer connects to WiFi. Is this a hereditary problem?

I'm not sure if you will get this but I had same wifi problem as you and went to my phone shop and lady sent SMS to 20 20 which I then had to wait 1 hour before turn phone off then on again now all seems good it's a wifi reset for uk network O2 contact your provider for similar!
